Biography:
Ariana was born on the 28th may 1989 in Lisbon/Portugal, she studied in Portugal for 9 years but in 2006 she went to London to pursue her studies in design and music.
She was studying at the KCC level 2 Performing musician and Arts & design (graphic design and multimedia). But she finalized her 2 course with very good grades, Merit and An award "student of the year 2006/07" added by access to music and rock school for Performing musician course and Distinction star for the other one...And now she is doing BA (HONS) Graphic Communication (1st year) in cardiff at UWIC (University of wales institute, cardiff)!

In September of 2004 she and 3 other girls formed a band (S.O.C-Spirit of Contradiction) influenced by nouvelle vague, the roots, red hot chilli peppers and some other bands.
(Girls can kick some asphalt in the music world too!)
Ary, her staged name and also the name that she prefers to be known by, played bass, Rita was the guitarist, Sofy were the drummer and Tini, the vocalist!
They played a lot in Sintra/Portugal (13 concerts) in a lot of bars near the beach (Praia grande) and so on.
They also played in a festival in December in Portugal at “village/Praia Grande” with a lot more of other bands. This was their last concert, but Spirit of Contradiction only “broke up” in April 2006.
However Ary didn’t give up her dreams, she started to play but this time with a bass teacher, to improve her skills, because she started to play bass by herself in 2004 without any knowledge at all.
She also plays electric guitar and acoustic guitar, but the instrument that she most identifies with is definitely the electric bass.
Her musical influences are Punk rock, Rock & roll, Jazz, Blues, alternative, Ska… like, Pennywise, Anti flag, Nouvelle vague, Halo friendlies, The Donnas, Mad Caddies Tara Perdida, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Ray Charles, etc.

She has got a great spirit and she always try to do her best!!!
Now she rocks the rock!
